Resident Water Champions - Alan Mitchell

Alan Mitchell is a long term Territorian and a busy community man, especially with his role as Councillor with the Darwin City Council. Alan says that Living Water Smart has made it easier for him to save water. One of the areas he most wanted to focus on was his lawn area and reducing the amount of water it used. Living Water Smart suggested an appropriate watering schedule and Alan will soon take advantage of a Garden Water Service to look at ways to improve his irrigation system. Alan is also the happy recipient of a new water efficient showerhead, which he obtained during the Living Water Smart ‘Showerhead Swap It’ program.
