Interested in having your students learn from industry professionals?

Living Water Smart has in 2017 collaborated with four local primary schools, Girraween, Anula, Karama and Manunda Terrace, to teach students firsthand how to be water wise.

The initiative, That’s My Water!, is a Year 5 / 6 science based curriculum unit that allows students to work and learn alongside industry professionals to address the issue of sustainable water use in the Darwin region.

We’re extending the invite to other schools across the Darwin region that are interested in participating.

The session unit, which is inquiry based mapped to the Australian Curriculum and has a STEM focus, provides an opportunity to explore the context and background of the project, dive into the learning experiences and network between participating schools, Living Water Smart, Power and Water Corporation, Department of Education and Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

If you would like to express your interest in participating in 2018, please phone 8995 5861 or email joel.spry@powerwater.com.au
