Darwin businesses, both big and small are helping their bottom line by being more water smart. For the Mitchell Street Childcare Centre in Darwin’s CBD, finding and fixing a leak reduced their water consumption by 7000 litres per day, saving around $5000 per year. 

Living Water Smart also identified water saving opportunities through a reduction of watering schedules, repairing sprinkler heads and replacing the toilet and craft sink tap with water efficient models.
