Become a registered supplier

In Darwin we’re using more water than can be captured and supplied, and leaks are the second biggest area of water waste after overwatered gardens.

Living Water Smart, a Power and Water initiative, is seeking Darwin plumbers and experienced irrigators to join as registered suppliers for our Rebates Program.

Plumbers:

After conducting 600 water efficiency consultations in Darwin homes, Living Water Smart has found that around 1 in 8 Darwin homes has a leak. Leaks found are wasting around 500 000 litres or $1000 per year. This presents us with an excellent opportunity to help residents save water.  To find out more about the Leak Check Program click here. Irrigators:

The aim of the Home Garden Tune-Ups program is to provide Darwin residents with a water efficient irrigation schedule and a quick tune-up of their irrigation. The Garden Tune-Ups will be available for any property connected to the main water supply with access to the water meter and that has an automatic irrigation control system. It will be available to multi-dwellings, government, single dwelling residential and more.
